Arun Kr. Singhal is the Chairman Editorial Board, Publisher and Chief Editor,
Drilling and Exploration World (DEW) journal and its publishing group the
Technology Publications. Mr. Singhal established the journal in 1989 & has been
responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the journal and the
publication group. He has over 20 years experience in the field of technical
journalism and publishing. His contributions are recognized by the industry.
Satish Kr. Mathur is Director Editorial, Drilling and Exploration World (DEW)
journal. Mr. Mathur is former General Manager, ONGC. A Science Graduate with
double Post Graduation Degrees. Mr. Mathur has done courses at the world
renowned Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in computer based management
system & International Statistical Education Center, Kolkata. Mr. Mathur has a
wide and varied experience of over four decades in different responsible
technical positions in the world renowned ONGC.
Dr. Himmat Singh is the Chief Technical Adviser (Downstream & Engineering)
Drilling and Exploration World (DEW) journal. Dr. Singh is former Distinguished
Professor, Hydrocarbon Engineering, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies,
India.
He was also former Advisor (Research & Development) Bharat Petroleum
Corporation Limited and former senior Deputy Director (Scientist "G"), Indian
Institute of Petroleum-a R&D center under Council of Scientific and Industrial
Research (CSIR), Government of India.
Dr.
Prof. Nikolay P. Zapivalov is the Chief
Technical Adviser (Upstream) Drilling
and Exploration World (DEW) journal.
Prof. Zapivalov is a Dr. Sc. (Petroleum
Geology), Chairman of Novosibirsk Center
of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences,
Chief Scientist, Institute of Petroleum
Geology and Geophysics of the SB RAS. He
is also a Professor of Novosibirsk State
University. He is honored Geologist of
Russia.
Prof. Zapivalov has been a geologist,
chief geologist and General Director of
West Siberian oil exploration
enterprises for many years. He is a
discoverer of oil and gas fields. Now he
is a prominent scientist awarded with
Golden Star, Knight of Science and
Arts,a petroleum geologist well-known in
Russia and abroad.
His research activities are Forecast and
exploration of large and high-production
oil and gas pools in many regions,
especially in the basement;
geofluidodynamics of oil-saturated
systems as a base of new principles for
exploration and development. He created
a new theory of rehabilitation of
exhausted fields and ways to increase
reserves.
Author and co-author of over 600
published works. Prof. Zapivalov is the
author of book “India – way to big oil”
(2005). Worked in India in 1964-1968.
